There is a time of struggle in us all. It is through the trials of the struggle that a sound is created with angst of the uncertain in a world of the unknown. From this comes The Struggle, a trio of seasoned singer-guitarists playing the folk and blues, and rock with an alchemy of acoustic guitars, an emphasis on vocal harmony, punctuated with the moaning sound of a smooth harmonica.  Our song list covers classic songs from the 60s - the 90's, as well as songs of The Struggle with a similar sound. The Struggle includes - "Mr. First Chair" Dennis Glassco acoustic guitar and righteous vibes; the Doctor Doug Sallade vocals and lead guitar and scholarly pronouncements; the impresario Billy Woodson vocals, guitar, harmonica, bongos and harmonious convergences. We are always accompanied by that Master of all of the Six Strings himself, Mr. Steve Gage! We are sometimes accompanied live by a personal friend of Leland Sklar, Michael Riech playing bass and last but not least Promoter Deluxe, Mr. Merritt Raff on drums.     

It is and will always be The Struggle.
